Trip with Thai Coins!!
  After exchange your native currency to Thai Baht, it is possible that you will get some Thai coins. Look at them!! One side of every Thai coins show the picture of His Majesty the King Bhumibhol Adulyadej, and the other side show the Thai style architecture picture.
Yes!! We are going to find out what are the architecture on the coins and where they are. Are you ready? Let’s go!!!
Four coins that we are going to find out are 1 Baht, 2 Baht, 5 Baht, and 10 Baht.
     
The picture you see on a 1 Baht coin is the Wat Pra Kaeo, the most renowned temple.
It contains the mysterious Emerald Buddha statue, a Thai national symbol. The temple is located on Na Phralan Road. Don’t miss it.
   
On a 2 Baht coin, there is a picture of “Phukhaothong” which is the pagoda on a mountain. The place is also called “Wat Sra Ket” which means washing hair. This temple is the place that King Rama I washed His hair after his return from a war in Cambodia. Wanna see Bangkok views, and touch ancient culture? Bring your 2 Baht coin and go to the Golden Mountain!!! It located on Prariphat Road.
   
   
On a 5 baht coin. it is the picture of Benchamabophit temple, the most beautiful marble temple on Rama V road. The temple was built by mixture Thai style and west style architecture.
 
   
A 10 baht coin is different from the above mentioned coins due to there are two part in the coin; the rim and the center. The rim of the coin looks similar to the other coins, while the middle part is metallic. The picture in this part is Wat Arun Ratchawararam, also called “The Temple of Dawn”, located on Arun Amarin Road .
The picture shows the enormous pagoda standing straight to the sky and surrounded by many interesting buildings in the temple. Not only the picture of the pagoda with the sky, you will also see the Chao Phraya River flows passing the front of the temple. This picture is very famous and considered as one of the most celebrated Bangkok landmarks.
